2026 Spring Support Symposium

Join Us in Ann Arbor, Michigan!
Saturday, April 11th

We are excited to host the WDA Spring Support Symposium on April 11th at the DoubleTree by Hilton Ann Arbor North.

This special full-day event will feature presentations from the University of Michigan Wilson Disease Center of Excellence (COE) Team, along with meaningful conversations designed to bring patients and caregivers together as a community.

 A New Opportunity to Connect

This symposium is more than an educational event — it’s a new opportunity for patients and caregivers to connect, share, and learn from one another.

Whether you or a loved one were recently diagnosed or have been managing Wilson disease for years, this day is focused on helping you:

  •  Build community with others who understand the journey
  •  Hear directly from members of the University of Michigan COE team
  •  Learn practical strategies for living well with Wilson disease
  •  Gain insight from real patient experiences
  •  Connect with the broader Wilson disease community

Our focus is on everyday life with Wilson disease — support, adherence, recovery, and resilience.

Patient Perspectives: Real Stories, Real Strength

You’ll hear directly from fellow WD patients who will share their experiences with:

  •  Medication adherence and staying on track with treatment
  •  Participating in clinical trials
  •  Recovering from devastating symptoms at diagnosis
  •  Building stability and reclaiming quality of life

These powerful stories highlight hope, perseverance, and the importance of community support.

Lunch & Meet the COE and WDA Leadership

During lunch, you’ll have dedicated time to:

  • Meet members of the University of Michigan Wilson Disease Center of Excellence Team
