Join Us: Copper Conscious Cookbook Webinar

March 21, 10–11 AM EST

March is National Nutrition Month, and we can’t think of a better way to celebrate than by bringing together some of the brightest minds in Wilson disease care — and a brand-new cookbook.

Join us on Saturday, March 21 from 10–11 AM EST for a free webinar:

The Copper Conscious Cookbook : A guidebook with recipes for eating well with Wilson disease

With the release of the updated US Dietary Guidelines, the timing couldn’t be more perfect. Our expert panel will put the new guidelines in context with the copper-conscious diet, helping you and your loved ones eat well while managing Wilson disease. The webinar aims to give attendees a look behind the scenes of creating the cookbook from recipe testing to real life advice on shopping and cooking to make sure meals are delicious and nutritious!

You’ll hear from the cookbook’s co-authors:

  • Carolyn O’Neil, RDN, Editor in chief and lead author
  • Dr. Jason Margolesky, Director of the Wilson Disease Center of Excellence at the University of Miami, on the “3 M’s” of Wilson disease care
  • Stacey Beer, RDN, Wilson Disease Center of Excellence at Texas Children’s Hospital
  • Liz Weiss, RDN, Recipe development and testing
  • Anne Marie Rivard, RDN, Wilson Disease Center of Excellence at Yale University
  • Carly Albinder, WDA board member, patient, and new mom — sharing her experience with copper-conscious eating during pregnancy and her tips for dining out

About the Cookbook

The Copper Conscious Cookbook is now available on Amazon for $12.99. More than a recipe book, it’s a practical guidebook for navigating a diet that limits copper-containing foods and beverages. Inside you’ll find easy to navigate copper content charts, 20 kitchen-tested recipes with nutrition information, snack and beverage ideas, dining out strategies, and expert guidance from registered dietitians at Wilson Disease Centers of Excellence.

As Carly Albinder puts it: “It’s more than just a cookbook — it’s peace of mind.”

We hope you’ll join us for what promises to be an informative and inspiring hour.
